Chatsworth Guided Ride
This ride is beautiful and one that if its not on your bucket list will be now!
We guide you through fields, woodland, bridle paths, Monsal Trail and through Edensor village.
This circular ride will take you and your horse over varied terrain and varied speeds. In places paths can be stony and rocky.
Depending on the conditions on foot will determine the speed. There are some lovely spots for long trots & canters.
Please note the ride does lead you through open spaces. All horses and riders must be competent and confident.
Along the route, bridlepaths are stoney in places, we would recommend hoof boots if your horse is barefoot. You will also come across gates along the route.
Both horse and rider must be confident off of lead rein and competent riding in a group.
We will be having a pit stop for an ice cream at Edensor Tea Rooms, please bring along £10 per rider.
On arrival, there isn't a mounting block, please bring along steps.
Evey & Pixie will guide you aroubd this 9 mile ride and depending on speed we have allowed 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
This is a great group ride for single riders and friend groups.
Meet time is 10am, to be on board for 10.30am.

In peak times the car park can get rather busy, please arrive in plenty of time.
The car park is big enough for lorries too.
There is a charge of £7.50 for parking, payment is via card or cash. Chatsworth parking can vary in price between £7.50 and £20 depending on size of vehicle.
There will almost certainly be livestock, walkers and bikes.
