Have you ever imagined taking your horse on holiday with you and immersing yourself into the wonderful scenery of The Peak District.
Stay 2 nights and awake with the views of your horse out in their individual, secure paddocks.
Three days of riding over moors and woodlands. The trials have varied terrain with some river & stream crossings and a small amount of road work - mainly on country lanes.
There also maybe livestock, walkers & bike riders on route. Walk/trot/canter on grassy tracks.
All horses & riders must be confident our in open spaces on grassy tracks and road work.
The Friday ride will roughly take 1 1/2 - 2 hours Moorlands & farm ride.
Our first guided ride we head out on to moorlands (2-3 hours)
Amazing scenery and tracks, looking over Curbar Edge. This ride is a combination of all three gaits, walk/trot/canter in open spaces. A small amount of road work will be involved for this ride.
Our second guided ride is approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours via lovely bridleways, water crossings with road work along country lanes.
There will be another opportunity for a steady canter before going home. And you can finish off your break with a canter along our farm ride.
The camp is designed with riders in mind who would like to be able to walk/trot and canter in small groups along lovely tracks in open spaces over moorlands and fields.
Whilst on your stay you will have full access to our farm ride.
Ride times will be given on booking confirmation along with location details.
Check in times are between 10am & 12pm and check out is up to 2pm.
We are based on a working farm with large farm machinery and livestock.
Breakfast, BBQ packs & lunch boxes can be pre ordered before arrival.
Parking is included on the camp site for trailer or box.
Hay can be pre ordered before arrival.
The price includes a 2 night camping pitch or one of our on site caravans, 2 night stay for your horse in one of our paddocks and the 3 days of guided rides.
For insurance purposes we can not allow anyone under the age of 18.
We allow tents, horse trailers and horse lorries per pitch. Larger lorries may have to park up just outside of the camping field.
We have a shared eco loo, hot running shower and a small kitchen area on site.
If staying in one of our on site caravans, please bring bedding & towels. There is no electricity on site.
A deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. Upon booking and the deposit payment passed, an invoice will then be sent to the rider for the final balance. The final balance is required 6 weeks prior to the camp date.
The prices per rider for the 2 days of camping/caravan, horse paddocks and 3 guided rides is £235 when camping and £265 when staying in one of our on site caravans.
