The views I didn't think we could top Ladybower Reservoir, but our brand new guided ride along Derwent Valley I think tops it!
This guided ride leads you along bridleways, open fields and along roads for some of the ride. We do ride along a main road which can become busy, but we ride along a very wide pavement which has a dedicated cycle lane.
It is roughly 9.3 miles and will approx take 2.5 - 3 hours depending on speed.
The views from this circular route over looking Derwent Reservoir and Bridge are absolutely incredible and not to be missed!
We pass through the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre and at that point we can make a pit stop for drinks and snacks.
It keeps getting better....
The bridleways we guide you through are open spaced, grassy tracks with amazing opportunities for a lovely canter.
Some of the bridleways can become a little stony, I would recommend hoof boots if your horse is barefoot although all of our horses are barefoot and coped no problem.
We ask all horses & riders to be confident in all types of traffic and open space.
You may come across walkers with dogs, cyclists and livestock.
