Young Adult Weekend Camp including Chatsworth & Peak District Moor Ride & Cross Country

Join us for 3 days of riding fun. 
This camp is designed solely for confident children, between 10 yrs & 16 yrs old, off lead rein.

We have three amazing guided rides planned around the Peak District. 
You can camp under the stars with your pony in the same field. Whether in a tent or trailer/lorry you will always wake to the wonderful view of your pony in the paddock. 

Meet Monday morning 10am for a super amazing ride around the bridleways and field of Chatsworth Estate. This ride is approx 9.6 miles and will take roughly 3 hours. The terrain is varied from stoney paths to lovely open spaces with grassy tracks. All riders and ponies must be confident in open spaces in walk, trot & canter.

You can expect livestock, walkers, mountain bikers along the way

We cant go to Chatsworth and not have a pit stop for an ice cream at Edensor Tea rooms!

Once the ride is over you will head in to camp to unpack and settle in for the night.

Tuesday morning 10am you will head over the farm ride, into woodlands and up to moorlands. Evey will guide you over bridleways and moorlands, which will take approx 2 hours.

And thats not all for the Tuesday 3pm and you are back in the saddle for an hours session at the cross country.

Wednesday morning 10am Evey & Pixie will guide you up to the moors, with views over to Curbar Edge to find some amazing trails and fab canter tracks, passing Barbrook Reservoir. Evey will find a nice spot for a picnic along this ride, which will be included in your package. 
This ride is roughly 9.6 miles and will take approx 3 hours.

Road work is involved along this ride with a road crossing on a busy A road, but the crossing is small and lots of space on the road sides.

This camp doesn't go without the opportunity to hit the gallops when going out or coming back in from this ride!

It will be a great weekend for all of the family. 
Expect a weekend of amazing fun with your horse, enjoying the countryside, having a blast and meeting new friends. 

On site we have a compost loo, hot running shower, small shared kitchen area with small amounts of pots & pans etc. We are totally off grid meaning we do not have any electricity on site, we do however have a small solar point to charge phones. 

The price also includes 2 night camping pitch for the whole family, 2 nights for ponies in a secure individual paddock, guided rides & pony games. 

Please note we will have to park 7.5 ton lorries a little distance from the horses. 
Small boxes and small lorries are fine. 
Dogs are welcome (small fee applies)

A deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. Upon booking and the deposit payment passed, an invoice will then be sent to the rider for the final balance. The final balance is required 6 weeks prior to the camp date.

The prices per rider for the 2 days of camping/caravan, horse paddocks and 3 guided rides, cross country & picnic is £220 when camping and £250 when staying in one of our on site caravans.

Parents/guardians must be on site and responsible for their children at all times
