These private 1–1 guided rides are designed for riders who want a calm, supportive and confidence-building experience with their own horse, led by the experienced partnership of Lizzie & Muddles.

Whether you’re returning to riding, building confidence hacking out in new places, or simply prefer a quieter, more personal ride, these 1–1 experiences allow you to ride at a pace that suits you and your horse, with guidance every step of the way.

All rides are bookable online with set dates, allowing you to choose the location and date that works best for you.

A fantastic confidence-building route with steady tracks, gentle gradients and beautiful scenery. Ideal for relaxed, flowing riding in a supportive environment.

Longshaw Estate

Open moorland, wide bridleways and stunning views. Great for building confidence in open spaces while riding at a pace that suits you.

Chatsworth – Short Confidence Route

A shorter Chatsworth ride (approximately 4 miles), perfect for riders who want to experience this iconic estate in a calmer, more manageable way. Ideal for confidence building while still enjoying the atmosphere of Chatsworth.

All rides will go ahead if weather and ground conditions are suitable.
If we deem the weather unfit to ride, your booking will be rescheduled or fully refunded.

• Riders must bring their own horse

• Horses should be comfortable hacking out

• Some routes can be stony — hoof boots recommended for barefoot horses
