Sherwood Pines is absolutely stunning — and on horseback it is something else entirely. Pine trees closing in around you one minute, then suddenly opening out into wide open fields with the most gorgeous views stretching ahead. It's the kind of ride that keeps surprising you around every corner 💚

And the tracks? Firm, well maintained and brilliant underfoot whatever the weather — proper all weather riding at its best 🌿

This is a ride that is perfect for fitness work — the majority of this ride is ridden in trot and Jess absolutely loves it for that reason. Your horse will be working, forward going and absolutely loving every single mile 🐴💨

🌲 About the Ride
Jess leads a small group through 7 miles of stunning Sherwood Pines forest and open countryside — a brilliant mix of pine woodland tracks and open field riding that gives your horse so much to look at and think about 🐴

The tracks are firm and all weather throughout — no mud, no stress, just brilliant riding whatever the conditions 🌿 Please note there are some stony paths on the route — barefoot horses may want to consider boots, though many manage perfectly well without. Use your own judgement based on your horse 🌿

Your horse must be comfortable with:
✔ Walkers and runners
✔ Dog walkers — including off lead dogs
✔ Cyclists
✔ Children
