Emily & Emma Private Camp – 6th–8th July

A bespoke 3-day equestrian holiday for two riders at Unthank Hall Farm, Holmesfield, Derbyshire.

The price for this bespoke holiday is £300 per rider (including VAT).

Proposed Itinerary

Monday 6th July – Arrival & Welcome Ride

Check-in: Between 10:00am and 12:00pm

This gives you plenty of time to settle your horses into their paddocks, unpack and have a look around before heading out.

2:00pm – Guided Ride
We'll head out on a relaxed local ride to help both horses settle in. As this is a bespoke camp, the pace is entirely up to you both. Whether you'd prefer a steady confidence-building ride or would like to enjoy a few canters if you're all happy, Jenny will tailor the ride to suit you.

Tuesday 7th July – Guided Ride & Lesson

10:00am – Guided Ride (approximately 1½–2 hours)
This ride follows our popular Water Crossing route, taking in quiet country lanes, lovely bridleways and beautiful Derbyshire countryside. There is some roadwork involved and sections can be hilly and stony in places, but the route boasts some fantastic bridleways and beautiful scenery throughout.

2:00pm–3:00pm – Flatwork & Polework Lesson with Jenny
Jenny will also be your guide throughout the weekend, so this session is a great opportunity to work on anything you'd particularly like help with following your morning ride.

Wednesday 8th July – Moorland Adventure

10:00am – Final Guided Ride (approximately 1½ hours)
Our final ride explores the surrounding moorland and woodland trails, with some roadwork connecting the routes. You'll also enjoy full access to our private farm ride before Jenny guides you back to camp.

Horse Accommodation

Your horses will each have their own individual paddock.

• ✔ Entire field fully fenced
• ✔ Fresh water provided
• ✔ Plenty of grazing

The paddocks are positioned so the horses can see one another whilst still having their own individual space.

Caravan & Camp Facilities

The caravan provides a comfortable place to sleep, but as it is located within our off-grid camping area, there are a few things worth noting. The caravan itself does not have electricity or kitchen facilities, but everything you need is available within the campsite.

Shared campsite facilities include:

• 🚿 Hot shower
• 🚻 Toilet
• 🍳 Shared kitchen area
• 🚰 Fresh drinking water

We'd recommend bringing:

• Your own bedding (duvets, pillows and sheets/sleeping bags)
• Cool boxes for food and drinks
• Torches or head torches, as there is no electricity on site
• Suitable clothing for all weather conditions
• Any horse feed or equipment your horses may require during their stay
