Horse & Rider Overnight Stays | Peak District Bridleway Access

Travelling for one of our Chatsworth guided horse rides, or looking for a base to explore the Peak District with your own horse? We offer secure, welcoming overnight stays for both horse and rider, ideal for short breaks, ride weekends, or avoiding long journeys in one day.

You can ride straight out from the farm onto fantastic local bridleways, and we’re happy to provide maps of beautiful local routes for riders who want to explore independently during their stay.

Overnight stays can be booked:

• Alongside one of our guided rides, or

• As a stay-only option, even if you’re not riding with us

The minimum stay is one night.

🐴 Facilities for Horses

• 10 secure paddocks

• Running water to each paddock

• Quiet, safe environment

• Plenty of space for horses to settle after travelling

💷 Paddock hire: £20 per night per horse

🏕️ Facilities for Riders

• Space for lorries, trailers and tents

• Camping in your tent, lorry or trailer

• Hot shower facilities

• Shared kitchen area

🚐 Touring Caravans

We also have two touring caravans available to rent, perfect if you’d like a bit more comfort while staying with us.

No — you’re very welcome to book a stay even if you’re riding independently.

Can I ride out from the farm?
Yes, there are excellent bridleways directly from the farm, and we can provide route maps.

What is the minimum stay?

Is this suitable for large lorries and trailers?
Yes, we have plenty of space suitable for larger vehicles.

Can I bring my dog along?
