Ladybower - shorter version

Ladybower Reservoir

The shorter ride is roughly 3.5 miles long and will take around 1 1/2 hours.
The ride is suitable for walking and trotting.
Meet for 10am with the aim to be onboard for 10.30am, please bring along steps as there is no mounting block.

There is a path which leads you straight up on to the reservoir head with the most amazing views and perfect photo opportunity.
There is only a small amount of road work to do on this ride.

Meeting point for this ride is at Thornhill Car Park Carr Lane - What3words coordinates are - slower.stuck.duplicity. The car park now has pay machines which you can pay via cash or card
Unfortunately the car park is not big enough for boxes over 3.5 ton.

The ride is approx 3.5 miles and will take roughly 1.5 hours depending on speed. The speed of this ride is walk and trot.
The ground is concrete paths, flat and suitable to trot along.

You may come across gates, walkers, mountain bikers, livestock & dogs. There is a small road to cross from the car park.

We will guide you to the reservoir head for stunning views, don't forget your phone! 
We do come across a challenging part of the ride where we head up a steep, rocky path. Horses do ride up this path with ease, but we do like to let riders know about this area of the ride.
